Joel is the Campaigns Senior Manager at Zero Waste SG. Having joined the organisation in 2025, he oversees the campaigns and outreach portfolio.

An engineer by training and formerly from the Singapore Armed Forces, Joel brings experience in managing large-scale operations and applying systems-level thinking to his work. He currently leads several national campaigns at Zero Waste SG, including Sort It Out and Bring Your Own, which address household recycling behaviours and the reduction of single-use disposables respectively. 

He hopes to see a future where Singapore is mindful of the waste they produce, so that our future generations get to enjoy the same nature that we do.
