2. Learn as an Apprentice
Our Zero Waste SG Apprenticeship Programme offers an immersive experience in zero waste, circular economy, and environmental advocacy. Working alongside our team, you'll gain valuable insights into the nonprofit sector, develop practical skills, and experience first-hand what it takes to drive systemic, as well as lasting behaviour change to build a more sustainable, circular and zero waste future in Singapore.
Whether your passion lies in research, communications, campaigns, or fundraising, our apprenticeship programme provides real-world opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to impactful zero waste campaigns. This apprenticeship experience and exposure will equip you to become zero-waste leaders of tomorrow.

Duration: Minimum 4 - 6 months
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am - 6 pm. Weekend availability may be required for events.
Monthly stipend: Minimum SGD 800

Ambassadors

Be the friendly face of Zero Waste SG!
Join us on the ground as we bring the zero-waste movement to life at roadshows, events, workshops and community outreach sessions. Whether you are engaging the public with fun, interactive games and eye-opening visuals, gathering insights through door-to-door surveys or facilitating hands-on workshops and learning journeys, you’ll be inspiring real change by showing how small actions can make a big difference. Help us spread awareness on proper recycling, waste reduction habits, and practical zero-waste living — all while connecting with the community in a meaningful way.
Educators

Ignite circular economy awareness and inspire the next generation as our Zero Waste Explorer (ZWEX) Educator. Perfect for those passionate about early childhood and sustainability education, this role lets you conduct engaging lessons in preschools to nurture zero-waste habits and consciousness in young children.
Photographers & Videographers

Help us tell the story of Singapore’s zero-waste movement. We’re always looking for passionate photographers and videographers to document and capture the heart of our events and community outreach. Whether you are an experienced creative or an enthusiastic hobbyist, we would love for you to join us in making an impact—one meaningful shot at a time.
