As a fresh Environmental Engineering (EVE) graduate from the National University of Singapore, Yee Shien has always had a passion for sustainability and a belief that there is always value in waste. In 2021, together with her EVE peers, she co-founded the Green Doctors Programme, an initiative that developed a technology to separate blister pack components, allowing it to be recycled.  

 

Now at Zero Waste Singapore, her role specifically focuses on growing the Bring Your Own (BYO) SG movement, by reaching out to existing and new supporters and bringing in new ideas, initiatives and ways of approaching the topic of BYO.
