As a fresh Environmental Engineering (EVE) graduate from the National University of Singapore, Yee Shien has always had a passion for sustainability and a belief that there is always value in waste. In 2021, together with her EVE peers, she co-founded the Green Doctors Programme, an initiative that developed a technology to separate blister pack components, allowing it to be recycled.

At Zero Waste SG, her role as Partnerships Manager focuses on fostering meaningful and lasting partnerships and sharing vital knowledge on circularity, reaching out to existing and new supporters and bringing in new ideas, initiatives and ways of approaching the topic of waste.
